Refund Policy
1. Overview
At Global Edge Consultancy, we are committed to delivering high-quality professional services. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund may be requested. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for our consultancy services including business registrations, company incorporation, accounting & bookkeeping, NGO registration, ISO certification, and taxation & compliance.
By engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the stage of service delivery:
a) Full Refund (100%)
- If you cancel the service within 24 hours of payment and no work has been initiated
- If we are unable to commence the service due to reasons attributable to our team
b) Partial Refund (50%–75%)
- If you cancel after work has commenced but before submission to government authorities — a partial refund will be issued after deducting charges for work already completed
- If the service cannot be completed due to regulatory changes or government policy updates beyond our control
c) No Refund
- Once the application or filing has been submitted to the respective government authority
- Government fees, stamp duties, and statutory charges already paid on your behalf (these are non-refundable under any circumstances)
- If the application is rejected due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client
- If the client fails to provide required documents or respond to queries within 30 days of request
- For completed services where deliverables have been provided
3. Service-Specific Refund Terms
a) Business Registrations (GST, MSME, FSSAI, IEC, etc.)
Refunds are available only before the application is filed on the respective government portal. Once filed, no refund is possible as government fees are non-recoverable and the registration process has been initiated.
b) Company Incorporation (Pvt Ltd, LLP, OPC)
Refunds are available before the DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) application or Name Reservation (RUN/SPICe+) is filed with MCA. After filing, only government fees deduction and partial professional fee refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
c) Accounting & Bookkeeping
Monthly retainer fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced. For project-based engagements, refunds are available only for work not yet performed.
d) NGO Registration
Due to the multi-step nature of NGO registration (Trust Deed drafting, registration filing, 12A/80G applications), refunds are calculated based on the stage of completion. Drafted documents that have been delivered are non-refundable.
e) ISO Certification
Refunds are available before the audit process begins. Once the certification body has been engaged and documentation review has started, only a partial refund of our professional fees (excluding certification body charges) may be considered.
f) Taxation & Compliance (GST Returns, ITR, TDS, ROC)
Refunds are not available for returns or filings already prepared and submitted. For returns in preparation, a partial refund may be available if cancelled before submission.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at support@globaledgeindia.in or call +91 9927385125 with your service details and reason for the refund request
- Provide Details: Include your name, invoice number, service availed, payment date, and a brief description of why you are requesting a refund
- Review Period: Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days and communicate the decision
- Approval & Processing: If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, etc.)
- Bank processing times may cause additional delays of 3–5 business days
- Refund amounts are exclusive of any payment gateway or transaction charges, which are non-refundable
6. Service Credit Option
Instead of a monetary refund, you may opt for a service credit of equal value that can be applied to any future service offered by Global Edge Consultancy. Service credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance and are non-transferable.
7. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with the refund decision, you may escalate the matter by writing to our management at support@globaledgeindia.in with the subject line “Refund Dispute – [Your Name]”. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably within 15 business days.
Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. The policy applicable at the time of your purchase shall govern your refund request.
